All the staff spoke English well, and was easy to communicate with. Everything worked well without problems.
Noise from the streets comes through fairly loud, despite the double windows. Also, the bed was too soft and hurt my body. Firmer bed would have given me much better sleep and rest.

location and people from staff who helped me to find out information about train schedules
everything was nice but the staff did nothing about noise made by the others guests at nights. For example, on the second day of my stay in the hotel, people from Finland made a party in the room, they were talking very loud, giggled so that I could not sleep, the next day the drunk Frenchmen was having party in the next room: they were smoking, they switched on the music very loudly, these sort of things had been lasting all nights, until I told the receptionist that I was going to call the police

The breakfast spread was good, with muesli, fruits, hams, and cheeses on the table, not to mention cooked eggs! Plus, the hotel was located near some hidden gem eateries like Omar and Bolena Weinbar & Restaurant, perfect for a late-night snack.

All the rooms are newly renovated and good-sized with a duble bed and the staff are pleasant.

The apartment room we stayed in was very nice and spacious. Although the windows fronted a main street, it was quiet during the whole stay and we were never disturbed. The kitchenette was well equipped and large enough for making meals easily. Plenty of storage space for our things. We found breakfast to be very good and it offered plenty of choices. We're pretty used to these types of breakfasts and found this one to be above average compared to most. Also, the free internet terminals were a nice touch!
The TV was a bit antiquated and small. There was also a VCR in the room. Really, who has a VCR anymore? The maid also did a poor job of securing the door after cleaning. Really, these were small things - except for the maid not ensuring that the deadbolt was secure.

Vienna vibes and tram rides 🚋
Lekker spot! Room was pretty spacious and comfy, just a hop on the tram to get into the city. Staff were super friendly and gave me some great tips on what to see. Breakfast was a solid deal too, defs worth it!
Just a bit noise from trams at night, but I managed to catch my Z's anyway.

Everything was good during 6 days, liked its particularly good and unbeatable location close enough to very center of Vienna, both train and transport and Xmas markets. I had a tasty breakfast with freshly made coffee, the food was great! The staffs were excellent & respectful.

good breakfast, many mirrows in room, free internet in hall, a few minutes to city centrer by foot.
Uncomfortable bed, old installations in bathroom, any baggage room.

Friendly and well trained staff made check-in smooth.
The noise from trams was disruptive, even with closed windows. I found it hard to sleep due to the constant street noise outside. The cleanliness standards in the bathroom left much to be desired.

The Pension is perfectly located at the city center just nearby the Rathaus. My room was nicely arranged and clean. The same about bathroom. I liked this place!

Weather forecast and quote of the day that lied on the table during breakfast, nice staff, very good location.
I'd like to have some hot stuff for the breakfast, but generally it's ok.

The hotel was in a good position to get to the city, only two tram stops from the Schottentor Universitat, this is on tram routes 43 & 44.The room I stayed was clean ,bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fine as it was a continental breakfast.
The only problem is finding the Pension Excellence when you get off the tram,it took me 20 mins.to find it plus asking other people where it is.All it says is apartments in Alstrabe and the number to were it is,is on the wall at the corner of Langasse and Alstrabe. The entrance is into some apartments via a glass metal door and the reception is on the second floor which can be taken by liftor the stairs. As for trams which I like is on a junction which crosses just outside the window till about midnight- 1 am in the morning then about 5-30 am they start again, plus traffic.

The location is very god - about 10 minutes walt from the Rathaus. The price was also very reasonable. For one night it was quite comfortable to stay in this hotel.
The hotel needs renovation - the walls, carpets, windows etc. look very old. Breakfast was rather poor. No free WiFi (for 4 stars which it claims to be this is unbearable).
